Amaterasu Okami (nicknamed Ammy by Issun and others) is a wolf originating from Okami, and a contestant on Survivor: Kattlelox Island and Survivor: Battle Royale. She placed 4th and 23rd respectively.

Amaterasu is the second mute contestant to play Survivor, following Mime. Unlike Mime, however, her companion, Issun, talks for her, making her the first contestant to slightly consist of two people.

Trivia

• Amaterasu is the oldest contestant on both the Capcom tribe, and the Halo tribe.
• Amaterasu declined an offer to appear on Survivor: Yoshi Desert, despite being one of the top choices. She was replaced by fellow cast member Rosalina.
• Amaterasu does not speak, but still has confessionals, with her 'translator' of sorts, Issun, doing the talking for her. Issun would later play his own game in Survivor: Singapore.
• Amaterasu was nominated for and won Best Female Hero in the second TJ Awards Show. She received 36% of the votes.
• Amaterasu, along with the rest of the Captendo 5, were nominated for Best Alliance / Duo in the second TJ Awards Show. They received 20% of the votes.
• Amaterasu appeared in Mickey02Mickey's non-canon season of Survivor: Mushroom Gorge. She won the season.
