Personal Claim to Fame: Becoming a professor at a popular university. I don't work there anymore due to problems with the system, but it was an accomplishment that all my hard work helped me get.
Inspiration in Life: My students, my wife, and two sons, I mean that's my life right there. They're the reason I keep breathing and keep fighting to bring us all a better life.
Hobbies: Tennis, teaching, and solving puzzles.
Pet Peeves: Laziness and sloppiness.
3 Words to Describe You: Smart, honest, and nerdy.
Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: My students always tell me about Survivor and say 'Mr. Tennley, you gotta go on there! You'd win easily!'. So why not, you know? My wife's a big fan as well, so it was easy to get inspiration.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole SURVIVOR: I see myself winning the game because I'm a nice guy. I know nice guys usually finish last, but hey, it's not like all nice guys gotta finish last.
