Survivor: Gongaga Forest is the second non-canon season of BambiTJ93's Survivor series, which premiered on July 30th, 2014. It was written by Colbyleebrown.
The show premiered on July 30th, 2014 at 8pm with a special 90-minute premiere, then returned to its normal hour-long format in the following week.
The season takes 22 of the 24 second place finishers to play the game once more in order to finish what they've started! The only runner ups to not compete were Karrington, who had passed away a few seasons ago, and En-Tee-I, who won a season after placing second.
The players were split into tribes of men and women, men called Saucer, and women called Gaia. On Day 1, they had to make a first impressions vote, quickly shortening the tribes to ten members each. Unlike the other seasons, this season will be written in summaries.
There are also hidden immunity idols that act a lot differently during the show. If one is found, you get three different options when you use it: Be the sole voter at tribal council, cast an extra vote at tribal council, or use it on someone else of your choice but not yourself. Kevin used one in Episode 5.
In Episode 10, the eight remaining players were divided into four pairs of two. Instead of tribal council, there would be immunity challenges that would determine the losing pair. Then a vocal vote would take place to eliminate one member of the losing pair. The member who survives will be safe until the end of the twist. The pairs are: Kevin/Danielle, Vixey/Kitana, Kasumi/Glaceon, and Etna/Tyler. The twist only lasted two episodes.
Danielle was named the winner in the final episode on August 25th, 2014, defeating her ally Kasumi in a 5-4 vote.
